Our Story
Welcome to Westfield Croft.
Westfield Croft is a smallholding in Aberdeenshire. Our ethos is sustainability and respecting the animals with whom we share the croft.
Wool
We have a small flock of rare breed primitive sheep of the Boreray and Hebridean breeds. These are robust hardy little sheep that produce lovely fleeces for yarns and rugs.
Willow
The coppice has been rejuvenated from an overgrown thicket into a working coppice of willow and hazel. The willow is utilised in creative crafts of wreath making, garden structures and basketry. Willow is also used as a winter fodder for the sheep.
Stables
We also have renovated stables. Perfect for a quiet getaway nestled in the fine Scottish countryside.
